Stargazing in the Meadow

Blankets, hot cocoa and a borrowed telescope in the meadow on the first clear night of November.

The meadow at the top of the property is dark enough to see the Milky Way on a clear night. A friend from the county astronomy club brings a telescope and points out planets, star clusters and the Andromeda galaxy.

We bring blankets and hot cocoa. If it clouds over, we move to the fire circle and try again the next night.
