Chili Cook-off
Campers bring a pot, everyone gets a spoon and the winner gets a free weekend next season.
Once a year the pavilion turns into a chili line. Campers cook on their own stoves or over the fire ring, and at five we set every pot out on the long tables.
A tasting card gets you a spoonful of everything and one vote. The winner gets a free weekend next season and their name on the board by the store.

Apple Butter Morning
Stir a copper kettle of apple butter from the orchard trees over the fire, then take a jar home.

Guided Creek Walk
A two-mile walk up Tanager Creek at peak color, with Dale pointing out trout pools, salamanders and an old stone dam.
$15, campers free

Stargazing in the Meadow
Blankets, hot cocoa and a borrowed telescope in the meadow on the first clear night of November.
